RGE, F-gas and certificates: staying compliant whether monobloc or bibloc
To unlock the energy certificates of the BAR-TH-171 sheet, the professional must hold a quality mark within the meaning of decree no. 2014-812, which in practice means RGE QualiPAC. On a bibloc, the refrigerant capability certificate of article R. 543-99 of the French environmental code is added, its issuing rules being set by the order of 21 November 2025. It is granted for five years at most, per establishment, and assumes staff holding the individual qualification. In operation, Regulation (EU) 2024/573 triggers the periodic leak check from 5 tonnes of CO2 equivalent for Annex I gases, or 1 kg for those in section 1 of Annex II, with an exemption in residential buildings for hermetically sealed equipment under 3 kg. On a monobloc, the circuit being factory-sealed, you avoid handling refrigerant on site, but the electrical, hydraulic and commissioning rules still apply.
