What is a price breakdown?

It is a product detailed line by line: the equipment, the labour and the accessories, each with its price. In Argile the kit pulls in its dependencies and every line stays priceable on its own.

Is an article the same thing as a product?

No: the article is the building block (a machine, an accessory, a service), the product assembles those articles with its price breakdown. The same article serves several products.

Can we keep our own prices?

Yes: your pricing terms apply to your library, net prices, VAT and gross prices included.

Can a product and its lines be priced separately?

Yes: a product carries its dependencies, the kit pulls in its accessories and its labour, and every line stays priceable on its own.

Does a correction reach the whole library?

Articles are centralised and shared across your products: a correction on an article applies everywhere it is used, and the app warns you first.
