Privacy policy

Argile processes personal data to run its website and its software. This page explains which data, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected on this website and in the Argile software is REMI SAS, the company publishing the Argile service.

  • Company name: REMI SAS

  • Company number (SIREN): 982 137 390

  • Registered office: 20 rue Victor Basch, 94360 Bry-sur-Marne, France

  • Contact: contact@argile.ai

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we collect:

  • Contact data, when you request a demo or write to us: name, company, email address, phone number.

  • Account data, if you are a user of the software: credentials, role within the company, preferences.

  • Business data entered in the tool: projects, addresses of the homes visited, technical surveys, photos and audio recordings of appointments, quotes and related documents.

  • Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps.

Business data is entered by client companies in the course of their activity. For that data, Argile acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR: the client company remains the controller.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing and operating the Argile software: performance of the contract entered into with the client company (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

  • Answering your demo or information requests: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)).

  • Improving and securing the service, and measuring its use in aggregate form: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

  • Meeting our accounting and legal obligations: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

Audio recordings made during appointments are processed only on the instructions of the client company, which is responsible for informing the people recorded and, where required, obtaining their consent.

4. Retention periods

  • Prospect and contact data: 3 years from the last exchange.

  • Account and business data: for the term of the contract, then archived for 12 months before deletion, unless the client company requests earlier deletion.

  • Audio recordings and project documents: for the period configured by the client company, and no longer than the term of the contract.

  • Browsing data and technical logs: 13 months at most, in line with the recommendations of the French data protection authority (CNIL).

  • Accounting records: 10 years, as required by the French commercial code.

5. Recipients and sub-processors

Your data is never sold or rented. It is accessible to authorised Argile staff and to our technical sub-processors, who are bound by contract and by confidentiality:

  • Hosting and delivery of the website and application: Cloudflare, Inc.

  • Artificial intelligence models used to transcribe and analyse appointments, with no reuse of the content to train third-party models.

  • Email delivery and customer support tools.

Where a transfer outside the European Union is necessary, it is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), access to the software is authenticated and partitioned per company, and internal permissions are limited to what is strictly necessary. In the event of a data breach involving a risk, the people concerned and the CNIL are notified under the conditions set out in the GDPR.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to give instructions about what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise them, write to contact@argile.ai setting out your request. We reply within one month. If you are an employee or a customer of a company that uses Argile, please address your request to that company: we will pass it on if it reaches us directly.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France (www.cnil.fr).

8. Cookies

This website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. The details are set out on the “Cookie settings” page.

9. Changes

This policy may change along with the service. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with the update date shown above.
