What is the consumption data used for?

To put hard numbers on the current system and to cost the savings: the household's real consumption, peak and off-peak hours included, is the base of the before and after comparison.

Where do the certificates and audits come from?

From the ADEME open database, queried on the address's BAN id: certificates for existing dwellings and energy audits are published there.

Is the certificate fetched automatically?

The lookup is, the import is not. You pick the document from the list, and Argile asks for confirmation before overwriting the dwelling's information.

Can the customer go back on their authorisation?

Yes: it can be withdrawn at any time, and each meter carries its own access. The acceptance stays on record with its date, its IP address and the version of the text accepted.
