As a tradesperson, you must sort construction product and material waste (PMCB) at source, by the required streams (at minimum: wood, metals, plastics, plaster, mineral fractions, glass), as soon as it is technically feasible. You must also be able to prove traceability via the receipts or certificates from the drop-off point or collector. Plan the bins/big bags per stream from the moment the site is set up, to avoid mixing everything in one skip.
